Refund and Return Policy
Effective for all purchases from DashWerks.
1. Overview
We provide refunds, repairs, and replacements in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and the terms of this Policy.
These benefits are in addition to your rights under the law. Please review this Policy before purchasing to understand your rights and our obligations.
2. Definition of a Consumer
You are considered a consumer if you purchase:

Goods or services under $40,000

Goods/services over $40,000 for personal, household, or domestic use

A vehicle or trailer used mainly for transporting goods on public roads
Note: Purchases made for resale or commercial transformation are not considered consumer purchases.
3. Australian Consumer Law
Under Australian Consumer Law:

You are entitled to guarantees that cannot be excluded.

For major issues, you may cancel the service contract and receive a refund or compensation.

For major defects in goods, you can choose a refund or replacement.

For minor issues, we’ll repair the product in a reasonable time or offer an alternative.
If there’s a conflict between this Policy and Australian Consumer Law, the law takes precedence.
You must report any issues within 14 days of receiving your product.

4. Exclusions
We are not responsible for damages or losses caused by circumstances beyond our control once goods leave our possession.
5. Limited Liability for Defects

DashWerks ensures the manufactured model will substantially match the provided 3D Model.

If you provide your own design, you are responsible for its suitability and accuracy.

Do not return any item without contacting us first.

We may require photos or the item itself for inspection.
Models that have been altered or post-processed are not eligible for refund or replacement.
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order.
6. Limitation of Liability
DashWerks and its team will not be liable for:

Loss of income, data, or contracts

Incidental, indirect, or consequential damages

Viruses or software issues
-
Damages exceeding the greater of:

The amount paid for services in the past 3 months, or
-
A$250.00

7. Warranties Against Defects
We will repair or replace defective goods within reasonable limits.
This warranty does not cover products that have been altered or repaired.
All issues must be reported within 14 days of receipt.
8. Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds if you simply change your mind or find the item cheaper elsewhere.
9. Products Damaged During Delivery
If your item arrives damaged:

Keep the packaging and any included items

We will arrange a refund, replacement, or repair — provided you contact us within 14 days
10. Exceptions to Refund/Replacement
We may refuse a return if:

The product was misused

You were aware of the defect before purchase

You requested modifications against our advice

Any other applicable exception under Australian Consumer Law applies
11. Return Shipping Costs

If the item is faulty under Consumer Guarantees, we’ll cover return and replacement shipping

For small items, you may need to return the product and we’ll reimburse reasonable costs

For large items, we will coordinate return shipping

If a returned item is found not to be defective, you may be liable for the return costs
12. Response Time
We aim to process all repair, replacement, or refund requests within 14 days of receiving the item.
